Over the past few years, the world's top teams have begun playing a more aggressive style of high pressure defense. This type of defense causes problems for the opposition by taking them out of their comfort zone and forcing them to play quicker than they would like. However, playing high pressure defense is much more than just pressing high up the field. It takes a tactical understanding of the entire team as well as an aggressive attitude.

This DVD features a functional training session that focuses on organizing your players and putting them in a position to play high pressure defense. The importance of all players being in the right frame of mind and on the same page is stressed. There is a focus on how to press the player with the ball and how to make the opposition play in a predictable manner. This session also has a conditioning element.
